Chelsea hero Eden Hazard would be welcomed back from Real Madrid with open arms by Reece James.
Reece James wants fan-favourite Eden Hazard to return to Chelsea.
The Belgian departed Stamford Bridge following a long-running transfer saga last summer.
Real Madrid finally landed their man, snapping Hazard up on a five-year deal.
But the attacker's first season in Spain hasn't gone according to plan after initial weight issues were followed by a host of injury problems.
James insists he would still love to see Hazard back in west London, however.
Asked which former Chelsea player he'd love to see back at the club, the right-back told Bleacher Report: “Eden Hazard. I just loved the way he played.
"I still love him. He'll go down as one of Chelsea's best players ever.”
However, James admits Hazard wasn't his Chelsea idol when he was younger.
“Growing up it was Drogba,” he added.
“I was a striker and he was scoring all the goals at Chelsea.”
And the 29-year-old has already hinted he'll be a Chelsea player again one day.
"When I finish here I’ll come back," Hazard told well-known Blues fan Frank Khalid last year.
Pressed on whether he keeps up to date with his old side, the Madrid ace said: "When I can I watch. Not all the time.
"But they are doing well, they’re young.
"Now they can pay for players, they can buy players now."
